WHAT YOU AREN'T HEARING:

There's a site out there in the ether of the internet that is actually asking for money to defend a Traitor. We don't know if this is a first, probably not since Bush & Cheney have been campaigning for many years on the web, along with a lot of GOP crooks, weasels, child molestors, KKK members & leaders, shysters, freaks, drug addicts - well, the GOP list goes on and on.

Much of what you are NOT hearing is that a lot of these GOP creeps ARE exactly as described above, the media simply doesn't report these negative GOP stories unless forced to. As in the case of Libby and Miller and Plame. If someone had not empowered a prosecutor like Fitzgerald then there's a good chance you would not know that Libby is a Traitor at all.

Most people don't think about it, but from the time the Plame case was noted, until the Corporate media started asking questions was roughly TWO YEARS.

Anymore it seems that it takes some very deep and concerted investigation by blogs or websites like Buzzflash and Takebackthemedia.com and others, and when they first mention some of the illegal actions by the administration the Corporate media gets all huffy and starts screaming about the web, "Tin Foil Hat time!" or "Conspiracy Theorists!", etc. And some of that is true, there is some nutty stuff on the web, to be taken with a boulder of salt.

However, we've found that once you have gathered actual evidence, and enough people start slapping it around on the web that the Corporate media DOES take an interest in it. That's when they try to destroy the messenger, attack the site that has the evidence, but add some other wacky, site in the mix for "balanced news reporting".

If the subject and facts unearthed at that point don't seem to want to go away, then the media HAS to do something about it, and that something can be as simple as actually Reporting it. It's almost like the blogs and information portals are now the real news services and the media is basically Karl Rove's Fax machine glowing cherry red as it sends out the talking points to most of the media portals. But the Corporate media can't afford a staff as large as a passionate group of people, or a web community, nor does it have the reach, the will to dig as deep for no pay. We've got them beat there, it's not about the money. It's the passion for Truth on the Web.

Watching Jon Stewart of The Daily Show, on Comedy Central is an eye opening experience, and a lot of fun. Sometimes he will, as droll as possible, show the talking points on ALL the stations from CNN to FOX to MSNBC from a single day's newscasts. Different heads, same message coming from each one's lips, so literal that if feels like you've stumbled into the audi-animatronics research lab at Disneyland where they make the robots for the Hall of Presidents.

So Jon shows us what we're hearing. What we're not hearing is most probably a lot closer to the truth, as is what we're potentially Reading on the web. Fitzgerald was doing a Lot of Not Talking, and he's a pipeline straight to the truth.

When that other site, the one that looks more like a campaign site according to Slate online, has a link to "What You Aren't Hearing", you can damn well bet that 99% of it is a LIE. Oh they know the cardinal rule of lying and making it work - you have to add an element of "truth" to it or the lie would be too obvious. That's why the figure is 99% Lying.

The best part of all is - that they actually think you and I are STUPID. That we have the attention span of a single celled organism, besides being insulting, their construct of US being stupid is, both arrogant AND Stupid in and of itself. Not people you want to know, or run a country.

WE KNOW what you've Done Scooter Libby. We KNOW what kind of people you work with and for. WE KNOW that you have lied to the Grand Jury, because a person who respects our intelligence told us so, Patrick Fitzgerald - and in logical and legal terms that offer no room for squishy or slimy excuses from you or your bosses.

Like Jon Stewart once said so nobly, "What do they think we are, Retarded?"

A lot of us are too busy working two jobs, with kids, and may not know what's really happening in the world - especially if we watch or listen to Corporate media babbling on about kittens stuck in pipes, or car chases in LA, but we do know deep in our hearts that our brothers and sisters are being slaughtered in Iraq over a pack of Lies.

Lies which Libby told to Judith Miller. Which Judith Miller told to the Public in the New York Times. The same lies that were called "credible" now that they'd been in the New York Times, so they got "quoted" by Liars like Cheney, who'd directed Libby to make sure those Lies got into the NY Times in the first place to sell the war. The Bush and Rice became "repeater stations", broadcasting the same lies - "Don't want the 'Smoking Gun' to be a 'Mushroom Cloud'..."

Lovely string of cliches, made for sound bites - bumper sticker speeches, then they get compared to Roosevelt. It doesn't add up and we know it.

That's what THEY don't want you to hear. They made the news, then quoted it to sell the war when NONE of it was true to begin with.

We have some hot steaming Truth right here for you, judge for yourself - but in your heart you know when you're being lied to, it's not what you're not hearing, it's what you are being TOLD.

And that's why Bush is now at 34% with Cheney at 18% and Libby looking at JAIL for a Long time. Scratch a Liar, find a Thief.
