BUSH STANDS BEHIND LIBBY
...And anyone else putting our country at risk and in grave danger.

Again, no visit with the Plame outing and involving National Security would be complete without the investigation of George W. Bush, who somehow is in control of all safety and security of the United States, yet curiously knows nothing about anything going on either in the White House or Congress, let alone the hearts and minds of the American people, most of whom consider him an abject failure.

Bush may not be able to have it all or both ways forever. It seems that the Plame incident had more far reaching effects than anything else he and his cronies have dreamed up, mostly operating in "Campaign" Mode, where you decimate your enemies, and then later go golfing with them.

No, this time it is serious. So serious as a matter of fact that Bush even "lawyered-up" to protect himself personally. John Dean of Watergate fame called this a most extraordinary move, unheard of since watergate in this sort of situation. Dean wrote that if Mr Bush has retained personal lawyers for this problem, then there's a pretty good chance he was personally involved in it as well.

Yet Bush has come out time and time again denouncing the outing of Plame, and all the while slowly changing the parameters to be met for those that put our National Security at risk - one moment he's got Scott McClellan telling the White House Press Corps that anyone found to be involved in this breach would be fired on the spot. Within months to a year this line of questioning produced statements by him (oddly enough, with a big smirk) that if there was any evidence of a CRIME then the person would be "taken care of".

Yes, they have been taken care of, in the best possible way, from the Justice Dept stalling, Ashcroft recusing himself months later than he should, Gonzales requesting that the White House retain all records involved in the case, but notifying Andrew Card so late in the day (along with a notice from the CIA leader) that combined the White House had nearly three or more days to shred or burn or destroy any and all evidence while claiming they weren't notified until the 11th hour.

(Let's not forget WHY this war is on - Oilmen, the likes of which we haven't seen since the Oil Barons of the 1800's)

Both Cheney and Bush were interviewed by Patrick Fitzgerald but were not put under Oath during the questioning. This does not preclude a possible Indictment of either men for "Obstruction of Justice" in the Plame matter, or other charges deemed fit, and part of any airtight case the prosecutor may be able to bring against them.

Bush and Cheney were deeply involved in creating false information and the dissemination of it, with Bush even going so far in the beginning of the propganda push to make what appear to be false statements during his State of the Union speech - those infamous 16 words he uttered that were based on knowingly fake British Intelligence.

The Joseph Wilson report that Iraq had no means or ability to create nuclear weapons, that documents had been faked regarding the yellowcake, so badly that they were debunked within hours by checking the internet - the report had been floating around both the CIA, NSA, State Dept and White House for at least a year before that fateful State of the Union Address. Bush lied to Congress, which should be considered an Impeachable offense at minimum.

Bush made many bizarre statements, some of which still reside on the White House website, claiming that Iraq could attack the United States in as little as 45 minutes, even repeating this ridiculous statement in the Rose Garden of the White House and in a Radio address.

Many old guard and retired CIA agents came forth to complain that by doing nothing about the Plame leaker, who was basically in the midst of the daily White House internal operations, that we were sending a message to the world that no spy who would work for the USA would be safe and that politics trumped National Security.

His lack of response sent shockwaves worldwide in the intelligence gathering community, and there is no way to tell exactly how many foriegn assets (spys for the USA) were killed or tortured in their own countries.

Not only was Valerie Plame outed, but her cover operation "Brewster Jennings" was shut down, especially when Bob Novak specifically named them in the article following his outing of Plame.

Plame's job it appears was to gather information on Actual Weapons of Mass Destruction, and after the outing the Bush clan of Traitors were able to more easily falsify information and spread it through Fifth Columnists like Judith Miller, giving it the air of credibility.

The Bush Crime family could not have asked for better coverage, and with a media that thrived and profitted from war there were no real checks and balances to keep the public from being duped.

Interestingly enough, Rove, Libby and many others involved in this operation were under oath as govt officials from the minute they took office to NOT expose such information, and by all rights should be prosecuted for not upholding their oath of office made upon arrival.

Bush, Cheney, Rice, Gonazales, Rove, Karen Hughes and a few others were members of a private club formed in the White House to specifically sell the war to the public, called the WHIG, or "White House Iraq Group", and met weekly to brainstorm and push this war at all costs.

Each and every one of these members should be considered a Traitor to the United States and appropriately dealt with to the fullest extent of the law.

Tho the Bush administration seems to be skirting laws right and left, this particular case may just well be the issue that brings down their house of cards and exposes them for their callous disregard of our rights protected in the Constitution, which at times appears to be not work the paper it was printed on.

This case will take a lot of patience.

Patrick Fitzgerald is well known for his splendid legal work, which can take years if not decades to complete. He crosses all the "T's" and dots the "I's" and appears to love working a corrupt crowd from the outside in, putting so much pressure on "underlings", tho they may be close to the "king" and working inward, making deals to reach the "creamy center" of the case.

While this can be maddening to those of us who have been watching these criminals gut the country we all so dearly love, there is also a security in knowing that Fitzgerald is on case.

He took years to Indict the main figures in the Chicago case involving the Daley machine, but once completed the right people have been neutralized or jailed.

With the influx of one scandal after another making it appear sometimes that there is no hope, that we are a nation ruled by Fiat, that Bush is nearly a King, having brazenly installed those GOP partisand hacks (and traitors as well) who will not investigate or consider Impeaching him, and supporting and even paying off those that are loyal to him - the Executive Branch of our Govt is now so powerful that it would appear alien to the founding Fathers

But there IS Hope. They are scared of this investigation, despite their "whistling past the graveyard" threats and tricks, thinking as usual in Campaign mode, that if you create the impression that all is well, that the American people will buy it, lock stock and barrel and "run with the wolve", inherently wanting to be on the "winning team" even at their own expense.

We MUST keep these issues alive, and in the Media. We MUST create a drumbeat in all the progressive fields, from writers to bloggers to website owners and film makers, that this issue, that TRAITORS are destroying the fabric of our Democracy will NOT STAND.

And it's working. Bush's numbers have never been lower, most people consider him a liar, no one with any brains believes that there ever were WMD in Iraq and with Patrick Fitzgerald at our sides, using the rule of LAW as it's supposed to be used, then we cannot fail.

And then Bush, Cheney, Rove, Rice, Rumsfeld, etc WILL be held liable for their Traitorous and un-American activities, giving us just what our country needs to repair the damage done to our Constitution, Country and image all over the world.
