Libby swore to uphold the Constitution just like Bush and Cheney or any other govt official does when going to work in the White House. And he lied then too. We have proof of it now.

The lies that Libby passed along to Judith Miller to publish in the New York Times, so that Cheney, Bush, Rice, and others could trumpet them as the Truth about Iraq and why we should decimate a starving country where 50% of the citizens were either women or children under the age of 16, were lies manufactured by a group in the White House riddled with co-conspirators that included the WHIG mob, as well as monsters like Bolton in the State Dept.

The WHITE HOUSE IRAQ GROUP, comprised of Cheney, Bush, Rice, Rove, Hughes, Gonzales, and an assortment of other animals that have been wending their way through our govt since Watergate, Iran/Contra and beyond, met once a week to decide on the best way to "sell" the war against Iraq.

Sell? Maybe that was a 'mis'interpretation. Maybe we 'mis'spoke.

More "mis" words are used every day with these freaks than there are scandals to match them.

Misled, misinterpreted, misinformed, misjudged, misdirected, mistake, mis-spoke, mis-underestimated, misunderstanding, mis-guided, mis-fired, misconception, miscalculated.

There is a more proper term that's all inclusive for the list in that last paragraph, and the word is "LIE". They LIED, Libby LIED. Cheney LIED. Bush LIED. Rice LIED.

But now they want YOU to give Libby MONEY to help prove that he didn't LIE. Maybe instead was 'mis'taken, 'mis'understood, 'mis'spoke to the Grand Jury.

Well, the links you will find throughout this site will show you that Libby didn't 'mis'lie - that Libby DID Lie, most likely was groomed to LIE, by his LYING superiors. Not that he'd object to doing it, otherwise how could he have worked for Cheney?

CBS reports the President has hired a lawyer "Just in case" he's going to be asked questions about the illegal exposure of Ambassador Joe Wilson's wife. Is this the beginning of the end?

Bush, Atty Huddle On CIA Leak June 2, 2004

President Bush has consulted an outside lawyer in case he needs to retain him in the grand jury investigation of who leaked the name of a covert CIA operative last year, the White House said Wednesday.

There was no indication that Bush is a target of the leak investigation, but the president has decided that in the event he needs an attorney's advice, "he would retain him," White House spokeswoman Claire Buchan said.

The lawyer is Jim Sharp, Buchan said, confirming a report by CBS Chief White House Correspondent John Roberts.

"The president has said that everyone should cooperate in this matter and that would include himself," the spokeswoman said.

Cheney's Staff Focus of Probe

Federal law-enforcement officials said that they have developed hard evidence of possible criminal misconduct by two employees of Vice President Dick Cheney's office related to the unlawful exposure of a CIA officer's identity last year. The investigation, which is continuing, could lead to indictments, a Justice Department official said.

According to these sources, John Hannah and Cheney's chief of staff, Lewis "Scooter" Libby, were the two Cheney employees. "We believe that Hannah was the major player in this," one federal law-enforcement officer said. Calls to the vice president's office were not returned, nor did Hannah and Libby return calls.

The strategy of the FBI is to make clear to Hannah "that he faces a real possibility of doing jail time" as a way to pressure him to name superiors, one federal law-enforcement official said.

In 41 years as a pundit, Robert D. Novak has rarely shied from controversy.But now Mr. Novak, 73, finds himself a central figure in perhaps the gravest confrontation between the government and the press in a generation, and he has been uncharacteristically circumspect.

With a federal judge having ordered two reporters to jail for refusing to name their sources to a grand jury investigating the disclosure of a covert C.I.A. officer, Mr. Novak, whose column identifying the officer set off this showdown, has been under increasing pressure in recent weeks to explain his role.

But he determinedly maintains his own counsel. On the C-Span "Washington Journal" this month, he calmly swatted away one caller who asked how it felt to watch others face jail. Then, when queried by Brian Lamb, the program's host, about the matter, he referred dismissively to the reporters, Judith Miller of The New York Times and Matthew Cooper of Time magazine.

"I don't know why they're upset with me," Mr. Novak said. "They ought to worry about themselves. I worry about myself."
